Depart early morning from Mt. Kenya by road and continue your drive along with scenic majestic Mt. Kenya en route to the northern hemisphere by crossing the equator, gently descending into the remote open Savannah of Samburu national reserve. Upon arrival, enjoy lunch before setting off on an afternoon game drive.

After breakfast, depart for a Morning and afternoon game viewing drives

Samburu National Reserve boasts over 350 different species, and the presence of the Ewaso Ngiro River attracts plenty of wildlife. The reserve provides the opportunity to see wildlife that only lives in the dry north of Kenya; namely: The Grevy’s zebra, long-necked gerenuk, Beisa oryx, and reticulated giraffe. leopards are often known to visit the park, especially in the evenings.

Breakfast at the lodge and drive to Aberdare National Park. Arrive for check in at your lodge set high in the canopy, above waterholes and natural salt licks, you’ll enjoy the perfect fusion between nature and comfort as you watch wildlife approaching from the luxury of your lodge’s balcony. Feed your love of adventure as you observe a protective elephant matriarch chaperoning her calf, buffalo bulls fighting over territory, or a leopard prowling a warthog - a truly magical opportunity.

After breakfast, check out and drive towards Lake. Nakuru National Park, arriving in time for Lunch at the hotel. Afternoon game viewing drive.

Depart after having an early breakfast to Maasai Mara via Narok town. later arrive in good time for check-in and lunch at your Lodge/camp of choice. The reserve has vast open spaces, carpets of green grass, and an abundance of stunning, exotic wildlife throughout the year making it a prime destination and a must-visit for all! After lunch, set off on a game drive just as the animals awake from their afternoon sleep. As the air begins to cool and the sun sinks lower to the horizon, witness the excitement of the bush in action, returning at dusk to your lodge for dinner and a good night’s rest.

There is never a dull day in Maasai Mara and as you head out into its rolling green plains and riverine woodlands, you can experience the hushed thrill of a lion stalking its prey, or a leopard retrieving its kill from the high branches of an acacia tree. Following a late afternoon game drive, you’ll return to the lodge at sunset for dinner, some quality family time, and sleep.

This day marks an end to your safari in the reserve. After an early breakfast, you will enjoy an en-route game drive as you make your way back to Nairobi arriving in the city in the mid/late afternoon for your onward flight back home.
