Classic Kenya Safari – 7 Days

This morning, you’ll be met at Nairobi JKIA Airport or your Nairobi hotel and transferred to Wilson Airport for a scenic flight to Nanyuki Airstrip. Upon arrival, your safari guide will transfer you to camp inside Ol Pejeta Conservancy, with a journey time of about one hour. After lunch at camp, relax until afternoon tea is served. Later, venture out onto the rolling plains for your first game drive. Wildlife viewing here is a rare pleasure, with few vehicles in the wilderness zone and excellent chances to spot elephants, lions, giraffes, and rhinos in their natural habitat.

Dinner and overnight at your Camp/lodge

Wake up to the aroma of freshly brewed coffee, tea, or hot chocolate before setting out on an extended morning game drive. Out on the plains, enjoy a sumptuous picnic breakfast surrounded by the sights and sounds of the wilderness. Return to camp for a relaxed hot lunch, where you can watch wildlife and birdlife gathering at the waterhole. In the afternoon, visit the renowned Chimpanzee Sanctuary, a unique conservation project, before heading out for an evening game drive that stretches into dusk.

Optional night drives are available. This offers you a chance to encounter nocturnal species rarely seen during the day.

Today offers a variety of exciting activities to suit your interests. Options include lion tracking, Rhino Monitoring and Identification, traditional game drives, or a guided bush /bird walking safari with one of our expert guides and a ranger. Walks typically last 2–3 hours and can be tailored to your preference. Enjoy a picnic breakfast out on the plains before returning to camp for some relaxation. In the afternoon, head back into the wilderness on another game drive, or to the Wildlife Centre to learn more about conservation initiatives.

After breakfast, transfer to Nanyuki Airstrip for your scenic flight across the dramatic Rift Valley to a private Masai Mara Conservancy. Upon arrival, you’ll be met by your guide and transferred to camp, where lunch awaits.

In the afternoon, head out on your first game drive in the conservancy. With limited vehicles allowed, you’ll enjoy uncrowded wildlife viewing and intimate encounters with elephants, giraffes, and the Mara’s legendary big cats. End the day with sundowners in the bush as the sun sets over the savannah.

Rise early for a spectacular sunrise game drive, when predators are most active and the savannah comes alive with movement. Enjoy a picnic breakfast in the bush before continuing deeper into the conservancy.

Spend the day exploring the Mara’s legendary wildlife — from vast herds of wildebeest and zebras to prides of lions, cheetahs, and elusive leopards. With fewer vehicles allowed in the conservancy, your encounters are intimate and uncrowded, offering a truly authentic safari experience. Pause midday for a picnic lunch under the shade of an acacia tree, then continue your adventure into the afternoon. As the sun sets, return to camp for dinner and stories around the fire, reflecting on a day filled with unforgettable sightings.

Upon arrival, you’ll be met and transferred either to Jomo Kenyatta International Airport for your onward journey or to your Nairobi hotel.
