Upon arrival at Jomo Kenyatta International Airport, you will be warmly welcomed by our safari representative and transferred to your hotel in Nairobi. Take time to relax after your journey and prepare for the exciting adventure ahead. In the evening, you will be transferred to a welcome dinner at the famous Carnivore Restaurant.

After breakfast at your Nairobi hotel, transfer to the railway station for a scenic journey aboard the premium train or first-class train heading south. Relax in comfort as you travel through Kenya’s countryside, enjoying panoramic views along the way. On arrival, you’ll be met and transferred to your lodge in the Taita Hills Wildlife Conservancy. After check-in and lunch, embark on your first afternoon game drive. The conservancy is home to elephants, lions, giraffes, and abundant birdlife, offering a perfect introduction to Kenya’s wilderness.

Return to your lodge for dinner and an overnight stay, surrounded by the rolling hills and the sounds of nature.

Wake up to the sounds of nature and enjoy breakfast at your lodge in Taita Hills Conservancy. Set out on a morning game drive across the rolling hills, where elephants, giraffes, and antelope roam freely. Later, transfer into the rugged wilderness of Tsavo West National Park. Highlights include a visit to Mzima Springs, where hippos and crocodiles can be seen in crystal-clear pools, and the dramatic Shetani Lava Flow, a striking volcanic landscape. Keep an eye out for leopards, zebras, and large elephant herds as you explore the park’s diverse terrain. Enjoy a picnic lunch in the wild before continuing your safari through Tsavo West’s scenic landscapes.

After breakfast at your lodge in Taita Hills Conservancy, you will be transferred to the station for your first-class or premium train ticket back to Nairobi. Relax in comfort as you glide through Kenya’s scenic countryside, enjoying panoramic views along the way. Upon arrival in Nairobi, you will enjoy a hot lunch before continuing your journey by road to Lake Naivasha. Check into your lakeside lodge and unwind with views of hippos basking in the water and abundant birdlife along the shores.

After breakfast, enjoy a scenic boat ride on Lake Naivasha, famous for its hippos, water birds, and tranquil surroundings. Glide across the lake as you spot kingfishers, cormorants, and fish eagles in their natural habitat.

Next, head to Crescent Island, one of Kenya’s hidden gems. Here, you’ll embark on a walking safari among giraffes, zebras, wildebeest, and antelopes, all roaming freely without predators. This unique experience allows you to get closer to wildlife than in most reserves, making it a highlight of your Rift Valley adventure.

Return to your lodge in the evening for relaxation, with stunning views of the lake and surrounding landscapes.

After breakfast at your lodge, transfer to the airstrip for a scheduled flight from Naivasha to the Maasai Mara. On arrival at the Maasai Mara airstrip, you will be met by our safari representative and escorted to your lodge or tented camp. Later in the afternoon, set out on your first Maasai Mara game drive. This shared safari introduces you to the Mara’s vast savannahs and incredible wildlife, with opportunities to spot elephants, giraffes, lions, and more.

After an early breakfast, set out for a shared game drive experience across the vast plains of the Maasai Mara. This is the highlight of your safari, offering the best chance to spot the Big Five lions, elephants, buffalo, leopards, and rhinos, along with cheetahs, giraffes, and countless antelope species. Depending on the season, you may also witness the spectacular Great Migration, where millions of wildebeest and zebras cross the Mara River in search of greener pastures.

Begin your day with a visit to a traditional Maasai village, where you’ll experience the rich culture and customs of one of Kenya’s most iconic communities. Learn about Maasai traditions, admire their vibrant beadwork, and witness traditional dances that showcase their heritage. This cultural immersion adds depth to your safari, connecting you with the people who call the Mara home. In the afternoon, head back into the reserve for another thrilling Maasai Mara game drive. Focus on spotting predators such as cheetahs and lions, as well as large herds of wildebeest and zebras roaming the plains. End the day with a sundowner, enjoying panoramic views of the Mara as the sun sets over the savannah.

After breakfast at your lodge or tented camp, you will be transferred to the airstrip for your scheduled flight back to Nairobi. Upon arrival, connect to your onward international flight or extend your stay in Kenya for more exploration.
