Hiking & Trekking, flexible and customizable.

The Kamweti route is one of Mount Kenya’s most remote and least-used approaches, offering trekkers a true wilderness experience. Beginning deep in the forest zone, this path provides opportunities to encounter wildlife and immerse in pristine landscapes far from the crowds. Over six days, the trek ascends gradually through bamboo and montane forest, crossing alpine valleys and moorlands before reaching the summit of Point Lenana (4,985m).

The descent follows the classic Sirimon route, renowned for its gentle gradient and excellent acclimatization profile. This combination—ascending via Kamweti and descending via Sirimon—creates a traverse that blends rugged adventure with accessible trails, making it ideal for trekkers seeking both solitude and iconic views of Batian and Nelion.
