4 Days Kenya Safari - Meru National Park

Your safari adventure begins in Nairobi, where you’ll be picked up from your hotel or the airport for the journey into the wilderness. Travel north through scenic landscapes before arriving at Meru National Park in good time for lunch at your lodge or camp. In the afternoon, embark on your first game drive, exploring the park’s diverse habitats and spotting its rich wildlife — from elephants and lions to rhinos and countless bird species.

As the sun sets across the plains, enjoy the stunning views and the tranquil atmosphere of Meru. Return to your lodge for dinner, then unwind and relax in the safari setting, listening to the sounds of the African night.

Dinner and overnight at the Lodge/Camp.

After an early breakfast, head straight out onto the plains for a full day exploring Meru National Park and its abundant wildlife. The early morning light creates perfect conditions for photography, while animals are most active — elephants, lions, and antelope begin their day with energy across the scrublands.

After lunch, continue with an afternoon game drive as the bush stirs back to life. As the air cools and the sun sinks lower toward the horizon, witness the excitement of predators on the move and herds gathering in the golden light. Depart early in the morning from Meru National Park and travel by road to the enchanting Aberdare National Park. Nestled in the highlands, the Aberdares offer a unique safari experience with lodges set high in the forest canopy, overlooking waterholes and natural salt licks. From the comfort of your balcony, watch wildlife approach — elephants guiding their calves, buffalo bulls locking horns, or even a leopard stealthily prowling nearby. This magical setting blends adventure with tranquility, giving you an intimate connection to nature while enjoying the comfort of your lodge.

This day marks the end of your safari adventure. After breakfast at your lodge in the Aberdare National Park, depart by road for Nairobi, enjoying the scenic drive through Kenya’s highlands. You’ll arrive in the city by mid to late afternoon. (Lunch on own arrangements) Later, you will be transferred to Jomo Kenyatta International Airport for your onward international flight back home, carrying with you your unforgettable memories of Meru’s pristine wilderness and the magical forests of the Aberdares.
