In the next 3 days/ 2 nights you will be soaking in all the wonders, mysteries, and excitement of the Amboseli National park. It lies 150 miles southeast of Nairobi, very close to the Tanzania border The views of Mount Kilimanjaro the highest mountain in Africa are a sight to behold, and the snow-capped peak rising above the clouds dominates every aspect of Amboseli. The park shelters more than 425 species of birds and has an enormous elephant population, you will quickly be accustomed to having elephants roaming in front of your lodge as you arise to catch those first beams of light.
Depart Nairobi early morning by road through the panoramic Athi plains and into the bushes of Amboseli National Park, later arriving at your lodge in time for lunch. Later in the afternoon embark on a game drive in search of wild animals in their hideout! as a blazing sunset descends, return to your lodge for dinner and a good night’s rest.
After having morning breakfast, you will depart for a full-day game drive with picnic lunch boxes or enjoy morning and afternoon game drives in the Park. As you go in search of more great wildlife experiences, you might view a multitude of wildlife such as giraffe, spotted hyena, zebra, buffalo, blue wildebeest, cheetah, giraffe, hippopotamus, Thomson’s gazelle, impala, lion, and elephant herds moving through the acacia woodlands.
After an entire day spent out in the bush, return to the comfort of your lodge for Dinner and a good night’s rest.
This would be your last day in the reserve. After an early breakfast, you will enjoy an en-route game drive as you leave the Amboseli National park and make your way back to Nairobi arriving into the city in the mid/late afternoon.
