Begin in Nairobi, then head to Ol Pejeta, proceed to Samburu for unique wildlife sightings, and finally discover the Maasai Mara for thrilling game drives and witness the Great Migration.
Arrive in Nairobi where you will be met by our representative and chauffeured to your city hotel where your Kenya safari begins. Nairobi is an alluring mix of bustling city areas, lush green forest, rolling hills, shopping malls, and roaming wildlife. There are many activities and experiences that would suit any traveler, from the breathtaking scenery and abundance of natural attractions, to the glitz and glamour of the modern city-lifestyle. This first 2 days in Nairobi offers you the ideal way of experiencing the true sights, smells, and sounds of this vibrant city and its surroundings, helping you uncover the local character of the ever-fascinating Nairobi
Depart early morning from Thika by road to Aberdares. Set high in the canopy, above waterholes and natural salt licks, youâll enjoy the perfect fusion between nature and comfort as you watch wildlife approaching from the luxury of your lodgeâs balcony. Feed your love of adventure as you observe a protective elephant matriarch chaperoning her calf, buffalo bulls fighting over territory, or a leopard prowling a warthog â a truly magical opportunity.
Drive from Aberdares in the early morning, you will drive northwards via the Mount Kenya region which has beautiful green landscapes and mountains. Later arrive at Ol pejeta for Lunch. Ol Pejeta Conservancy includes sweetwaters Chimp Sanctuary, incorporated within the Ol Pejeta Conservancy, which is the only sanctuary for rehabilitation in Kenya for non-indigenous chimpanzees. Itâs also a home to the big 5 (the endangered black rhino, leopard, elephant, buffalo and lion).
Later in the afternoon embark on a game drive in search for wild animals in their hide out! as a fiery sunset go downhill, return to your lodge for dinner and a good nightâs rest.
Depart early morning from Mt. Kenya by road and continue your drive along with scenic majestic Mt. Kenya en route to the northern hemisphere by crossing the equator, gently descending into the remote open Savannah of Samburu national reserve. Upon arrival, enjoy lunch before setting off on an afternoon game drive.

Samburu National Reserve boasts over 350 different species and the presence, of the Ewaso Ngiro River attracts plenty of wildlife. The reserve provides the opportunity to see wildlife that only lives in the dry north of Kenya; namely: The Grevyâs zebra, long-necked gerenuk, Beisa oryx, and reticulated giraffe. leopards are often known to visit the park, especially in the evenings.
After an entire day spent out in the bush, return to the comfort of your lodge for Dinner and a good nightâs rest.

After breakfast, depart for Naivasha. You will arrive in time for lunch at the lodge /camp of your choice. Lake Naivasha is a beautiful freshwater lake, fringed by thick papyrus, which provides the ideal setting for a family to go for a boat ride or walk along the lake shores. The name Naivasha is derived from the local Maasai name Naiâposha, meaning ârough waterâ because of the sudden storms which can arise.

Depart after having an early breakfast to Maasai Mara via Narok town. later arrive in good time for check-in and lunch at your Lodge/camp of choice. The reserve has vast open spaces, carpets of green grass, and an abundance of stunning, exotic wildlife throughout the year making it a prime destination and a must-visit for all!
After lunch, set off on a game drive just as the animals awake from their afternoon sleep. As the air begins to cool and the sun sinks lower to the horizon, witness the excitement of the bush in action, returning at dusk to your lodge for dinner and a good nightâs rest.
There is never a dull day in Masai Mara and as you head out into its rolling green plains and riverine woodlands, you can experience the hushed thrill of a lion stalking its prey, or a leopard retrieving its kill from the high branches of an acacia tree. Following a late afternoon game drive, youâll return to the lodge at sunset for dinner, some quality family time, and sleep.
This day marks an end to your safari in the reserve. After an early breakfast, you will enjoy an en-route game drive as you make your way back to Nairobi arriving in the city in the mid/late afternoon for your onward flight back home.
