The Best Time to Visit Murchison Falls National Park is during the dry seasons, from December to February and from June to September. During these months, wildlife viewing is optimal as animals gather around water sources, and the roads are more accessible for game drives and boat safaris along the Nile River.
To get to Murchison Falls National Park, fly to Entebbe International Airport, then take a domestic flight to Pakuba or Bugungu airstrips near the park. Alternatively, drive from Kampala, which takes about 5-6 hours via Masindi. The park is accessible by 4x4 vehicles.
