Bwindi Impenetrable National Park, located in southwestern Uganda, is renowned for its biodiversity and its population of endangered mountain gorillas. This UNESCO World Heritage Site spans over 320 square kilometers of dense forests, offering sanctuary to about half of the world's remaining mountain gorilla population. Apart from gorilla trekking, the park is a haven for diverse flora and fauna, including other primates like chimpanzees and colobus monkeys, as well as over 350 species of birds.
