In this 9 days /8-night itinerary you will be visiting some of Kenya’s most renowned game-viewing areas An overnight stay at Elementaita is a perfect way to break the journey from Ol Pejeta to Masai Mar. Its located near Naivasha for some extra activities such as a visit to Hells Gate National Park, Hiking, Boat Rides, and visiting Crescent Island. By the end of your safari, you will have encountered spectacular and truly beautiful sceneries of wild nature that will enrich you in ways you never thought possible.
Day 1 &2:Nairobi
Arrive in Nairobi where you will be met by our representative and chauffeured to your city hotel where your Kenya safari begins. Nairobi is an alluring mix of bustling city areas, lush green forest, rolling hills, shopping malls, and roaming wildlife. There are many activities and experiences that would suit any traveler, from the breathtaking scenery and abundance of natural attractions, to the glitz and glamour of the modern city-lifestyle. This first 2 days in Nairobi offers you the ideal way of experiencing the true sights, smells, and sounds of this vibrant city and its surroundings, helping you uncover the local character of the ever-fascinating Nairobi
Day 3 & 4 Ol-Pejeta
Drive from Nairobi in the early morning, you will drive Northwards via the Mount Kenya region which has beautiful green landscapes and mountains heading to Ol pejeta for Game drives.
Ol Pejeta Conservancy includes sweet waters Chimp Sanctuary, incorporated within the Ol Pejeta Conservancy, which is the only sanctuary for rehabilitation in Kenya for non-indigenous chimpanzees. It’s also a home to the big 5 (the endangered black rhino, leopard, elephant, buffalo and lion).
Later in the afternoon embark on a game drive in search for wild animals in their hide out! as a fiery sunset go downhill, return to your lodge for dinner and a good night’s rest.
Day 5 & 6 Lake Elementaita
After breakfast, depart for Elementaita. You will arrive in time for lunch in a lodge /camp at Nakuru before proceeding for an afternoon game drive at Lake Nakuru National Park.
Later in the evening you will proceed to your Lodge/Camp at Lake Elementaita which is a small soda ash lake 18 sq km in size and is located on the eastern side of the Great Rift Valley, with much of it being part of the private Soysambu Conservancy.Although situated on private land it can be visited and is often home to great white pelicans, and great crested grebe and is an important stopover for over 350 migratory bird species.
You can also witness giraffes, zebra, gazelle, eland, and families of warthog. Enjoy a range of outdoor activities, including bird watching, and a visit to the natural warm spa that flows into the lake.
You will have an opportunity to visit Lake Naivasha for boat ride and guided walk at Crescent Island. Later in the afternoon you will have ample free time at the lodge /Camp.
Day 7 Masai Mara Game Reserve
Depart after having an early breakfast to Masai Mara via Narok town where you will have lunch. later arrive in good time for check-in at your Lodge/camp.
The reserve has vast open spaces, carpets of green grass, and an abundance of stunning, exotic wildlife throughout the year making it a prime destination and a must-visit for all!
In the afternoon, set off on a game drive just as the animals awake from their afternoon sleep. As the air begins to cool and the sun sinks lower to the horizon, witness the excitement of the bush in action, returning at dusk to your lodge for dinner and a good night’s rest.
Day 8: Full day Masai Mara Game Reserve
After early morning breakfast in the lodge/ camp, you will depart for a full day game drive with picnic lunch boxes or enjoy morning and afternoon game drives in Maasai Mara Game Reserve with a lunch break in between the game drives in order to cover a bigger area and see more of the reserve. Maasai Mara, is host to the most spectacular array of wildlife; the Big five. cheetah, hyena, bat-eared foxes, black-backed and side-striped jackals, hippo, crocodile, baboons, warthog, topi, eland, Thompson’s gazelle, giraffe, gazelle species, zebras among others.
Optional Activities: Hot Air Balloon Safari, Cultural Visits, Night Game Drive (certain locations only), and Two Hour Morning or Afternoon Walks (certain locations only). |
Day 9: Departure to Nairobi
This would be your last day in the reserve. After an early breakfast, you will enjoy an en- route game drive as you leave the Mara and make your way back to Nairobi arriving in the city in the mid/late afternoon.

Government Taxes and Levies: The rates above are inclusive of current levies & taxes as of today, however, should there be any new statutory taxes introduced and/or increase of any current levies by Government/statutory bodies the same shall be passed on to you.
Suppliers including game park authorities, airlines, hotels, lodges, and camps, reserve the right to revise their prices due to changes in Government taxes/levies or change of management or ownership or other unforeseeable circumstances.” If Government reviews/increases the rates for Park entry fees, all will be passed on to you
Luggage space: Soft-sided luggage or duffels are preferable to hard luggage for storage on safari vehicles within East Africa. Large suitcases of dimensions greater than 24″x 17″x 7″ are impossible to store in vehicles and on aircraft and should not be used. (Baggage and personal effects are at the owner’s risk throughout the tour and baggage insurance for members is strongly advised). Passengers should bring only soft-sided bags on safaris.
Re-routing of Itineraries due to limited space availability:
There may be some departures operated on a re-routed version depending on the status given, but reflecting the same experience and number of game drives.
