In the next 3 days/ 2 nights you will be soaking in all the mysteries, and excitement of the Samburu National reserve. It is dominated by rare wildlife species, such as the Reticulated Giraffe, Somali Ostrich, Beisa Oryx, Gravy’s Zebra and Long-Necked Gerenuk. Crocodiles can be found along Ewaso Nyiro River.

Day 1: Nairobi – Samburu
Depart early morning from Nairobi by road and continue your drive along with scenic majestic Mt. Kenya en route to the northern hemisphere by crossing the equator, gently descending into the remote open Savannah of Samburu national reserve. Upon arrival, enjoy lunch before setting off on an afternoon game drive.
Day 2: Full day Samburu
Depart for a full-day game drive with morning and afternoon game drives.
Samburu National Reserve boasts over 350 different species and the presence, of the Ewaso Ngiro River attracts plenty of wildlife. The reserve provides the opportunity to see wildlife that only lives in the dry north of Kenya; namely: The Grevy’s zebra, long-necked gerenuk, Beisa oryx, and reticulated giraffe. leopards are often known to visit the park, especially in the evenings.
After an entire day spent out in the bush, return to the comfort of your lodge for Dinner and a good night’s rest.

Day 3: Samburu national reserve – Nairobi
This would be your last day in the reserve. After an early breakfast, you will enjoy an en-route game drive as you leave the Samburu National Reserve and make your way back to Nairobi arriving in the city in the mid/late afternoon.
