Kenya’s vastness makes it wonderful for exploring diverse landscapes and observing wildlife in their natural habitat. In this 10 days /9-night itinerary you will be visiting some of Kenya’s most renowned game-viewing areas and less visited areas: Ol pejeta, Mt. Kenya, Samburu, and Maasai Mara. An overnight stay at Lake Naivasha is a perfect way to break the journey from Samburu to Maasai Mara and for some extra activities such as a visit to Hells Gate National Park, Hiking, Boat Rides, and visiting Crescent Island. By the end of your safari, you will have encountered spectacular and truly beautiful sceneries of wild nature that will enrich you in ways you never thought possible.

Day 1 & 2: Nairobi –Ol Pejeta
Drive from Nairobi in the early morning, you will drive northwards via the Mount Kenya region which has beautiful green landscapes and mountains. Later arrive at Ol pejeta for Lunch.
Ol Pejeta Conservancy includes sweetwaters Chimp Sanctuary, incorporated within the Ol Pejeta Conservancy, which is the only sanctuary for rehabilitation in Kenya for non-indigenous chimpanzees. It’s also a home to the big 5 (the endangered black rhino, leopard, elephant, buffalo and lion).
Later in the afternoon embark on a game drive in search for wild animals in their hide out! as a fiery sunset go downhill, return to your lodge for dinner and a good night’s rest.
Day 3: Ol Pejeta – Mt. Kenya
On this day after breakfast continue your journey onwards to Mount Kenya lodge/hotel set on the foothills of the magnificent Mt. Kenya.
Day 4: Mt. Kenya– Samburu
Depart early morning from Mt. Kenya by road and continue your drive along with scenic majestic Mt. Kenya en route to the northern hemisphere by crossing the equator, gently descending into the remote open Savannah of Samburu national reserve. Upon arrival, enjoy lunch before setting off on an afternoon game drive.
Day 5: Full day Samburu
Depart for a full-day game drive with morning and afternoon game drives.
Samburu National Reserve boasts over 350 different species and the presence, of the Ewaso Ngiro River attracts plenty of wildlife. The reserve provides the opportunity to see wildlife that only lives in the dry north of Kenya; namely: The Grevy’s zebra, long-necked gerenuk, Beisa oryx, and reticulated giraffe. leopards are often known to visit the park, especially in the evenings.
After an entire day spent out in the bush, return to the comfort of your lodge for Dinner and a good night’s rest.

Day 6: Samburu – Naivasha
After breakfast, depart for Naivasha. You will arrive in time for lunch at the lodge /camp of your choice. Lake Naivasha is a beautiful freshwater lake, fringed by thick papyrus, which provides the ideal setting for a family to go for a boat ride or walk along the lake shores. The name Naivasha is derived from the local Maasai name Nai’posha, meaning “rough water” because of the sudden storms which can arise.

Day 7: Naivasha – Maasai Mara Game Reserve
Depart after having an early breakfast to Maasai Mara via Narok town. later arrive in good time for check-in and lunch at your Lodge/camp of choice. The reserve has vast open spaces, carpets of green grass, and an abundance of stunning, exotic wildlife throughout the year making it a prime destination and a must-visit for all!
After lunch, set off on a game drive just as the animals awake from their afternoon sleep. As the air begins to cool and the sun sinks lower to the horizon, witness the excitement of the bush in action, returning at dusk to your lodge for dinner and a good night’s rest.
Day 8&9: Full day Maasai Mara Game Reserve
After early morning breakfast in the lodge/ camp, you will depart for a full day game drive with picnic lunch boxes or enjoy morning and afternoon game drives in Maasai Mara Game Reserve with a lunch break in between the game drives in order to cover a bigger area and see more of the reserve. Maasai Mara, is host to the most spectacular array of wildlife; the Big five. cheetah, serval, hyena, bat-eared foxes, black-backed and side-striped jackals, hippo, crocodile, baboons, warthog, topi, eland, Thompson’s gazelle, giraffe, gazelle species, zebras among others.

Day 10: Maasai Mara Game Reserve – Nairobi
This would be your last day in the reserve. After an early breakfast, you will enjoy an en- route game drive as you leave the Mara and make your way back to Nairobi arriving in the city in the mid/late afternoon.
